I too had seen various renditions of bamboo bicycles. I agree that it seems odd mixing natural materials (bamboo) with carbon etc... If you look at the pricing of same, you could assume that the maker is (perhaps) looking for a market niche of tree-huggers who want fast bikes.

Bamboo is relatively cheap as compared to carbon fiber. So one would think that you should be able to get a better-priced bicycle.

Regardless, I like the concept as anything to help us &quot;get green&quot; works for me.</description>
