I have hummed and hawed about what to do with respect to 2 wheeled transport whilst on our upcoming Dutch cycling adventure.
We have finally decided that we will be a bit “crazy” and buy Dutch bicycles when we get there. My friend Marc over at Amsterdamize has been kind enough to facilitate the procurement of 2 fine examples of Dutch engineering. I figured that if the people of the Netherlands can keep the Ocean at bay for hundreds of years, they would have the know-how to make one mean bike.
Helen and I are both getting these wonders of Dutch Engineering
Here’s mine and here’s Helen’s.
We’ll be getting the 7-Speed models (for all of those Dutch hills!)
We leave tonight. So stay tuned for a plethora of Blog posts!
