With an average speed of 35.706 Kilometers per hour, Nicole Cooke of the United Kingdom won the Women’s Road race of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.

The Women followed a shorten but similar course to the Men covering a distance of 126 km ( Point-to-point 78.8 km + 2 laps of 23.8 km ).
Canadian Leigh Hobson finished 28 seconds behind the winner in 17th place.
