Canadian Barry Michael placed ninth in today’s Men’s Road Race at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Some may scoff and say, “So what?”. This is an excellent finish for a Canadian cyclist at the Olympics. He finished a mere 16 seconds behind Spaniard Samuel Sanchez. And (sorry CyclePig) ahead of Australian Cadel Evans!
