Cycling – Smooth riding in Quebec City

I took another ride yesterday. I went on Promenade Champlain; which is a new place for walk/cycling that they just built for Quebec’s 400th birthday. The place is amazing! When you’re riding there, you follow the St-Lawrence River from Old Quebec to the Quebec City Bridge.

You’re also riding near the Port de Quebec. So there are plenty of boats to see out on the water. The only thing I missed on that ride are hills, this place is totally flat.

For those of you who have kids, I think it’s a great place to ride with children. I would also suggest you do that ride in the summer time because weather is cold near the river at most other times of year!

Here is a picture of Chateau Frontenac (sorry for the poor quality…). This is a very famous hotel built by the Canadian National Railway as they extended their tracks across Canada.
