As I have mentioned before, Helen & I will be going to Holland to “cycle the country”. Part of any trip is planning. I have been fortunate enough to come across a great website run out of Amsterdam. It is choc full of great cycling info (and videos!).I say videos, as when you think of it, nothing beats seeing what people talk about. Marc has included some great footage on the site. And they say “a picture is worth a thousand words.”. What about a video?
The following video has me including the Island of Texel in our travel plans for September!
What do you think? Do you want to go also?

Good job Marc!
I would put this on my list of places to cycle!
Helen
hi Helen,
thanks! I heard from a reliable source it’s definitely on the list now
cheers,
Marc
Very nice! You mean you’re bikes aren’t loaded on the lower level of the Ferry with all the transports? O_o There’s certainly something wrong with the system in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia then. Yikes.
O_o, that wouldn’t be very humane, Nadine, defeats the purpose of healthy cycling, right?
btw, I do prefer these types of ferries :-p
