The Environmentalist in me is getting the upper hand of late. So much so that I have done some research on what I (me) am doing to be a better global citizen.
One of the obvious things is to simply stop utilizing things that pollute. Easier said then done as our everyday lives are intertwined with carbon producing (pollution) activities every which way one looks.
It is easy to say: “What does my miniscule contribution really mean?”. True, but a bunch of small (miniscule?) contributions add up to larger contributions. Plus, doing the “right thing” will help to ensure that our children and our children’s children have something to look forward to (IE Earth).
Pretty heady stuff for a guy like me – I know.
In looking around the net, I found a nifty website that I wanted to share with everyone. The best part is that there is a cool carbon footprint calculator which will help you determine your actual impact in the scope of things. They go into quite some detail. It’s worth a visit and your time.
Let me know if you find this useful.
