Recent news from China has been focused on the Olympics & Beijing pollution. This has overshadowed what I believe to be an important contribution made by the Chinese population in general.
The use of bicycles in China is pervasive throughout Chinese society. So much so that bicycles are still the primary mode of transportation in the country that has the world’s largest population.
My friend Nadine sent me a link to an amazing bicycle photo gallery of Chinese bicycle use.
