Posted by Les Faber in I woke up this morning, and felt the fruits of my previous day’s labor. (I was pretty sore!). But the sun was shining, and I could find no reason to not spend another day cycling with Helen and the folks of the KNBC.
Today’s trip was from Centrepointe in Nepean. The setup was the same as yesterday: meet just before 10 AM, receive instructions, and take off. Today we were 18 enthusiastic souls.
Our destination was Aylmer, Quebec – an overall trip of some 60 Kilometers.
The weather held out this time.

Bike Dudes
After a great lunch we were off for the return trip and an impromptu bicycle repair clinic. One of the guys had a bolt that held his seat to his seatpost shear right off (you never know). Some discussion, testosterone, and some plain old ingenuity resulted in what I thought was a super fix (he did make it back!)
Note to self – get some spare parts before you go to Holland. Basic bike care is important.
All in all – a super day!
