I was really pumped yesterday when my buddy Barry called me to invite me on the Kanata-Nepean Bicycle Club’s first ride of the season. The weather was forecasted to be a bit above zero (high enough to melt the ice in the potholes!).
This morning rolled around. I was ready….. very excited…. called Barry to confirm…. And he was “under the weather”! Apparantly there was a case of the Australian Shiraz flu circulating at his house.

I decided to beg off and defer my ride once again.
