My first ride of the season was indoors!

My wife Helen is always pushing me to do stuff. This works out fine when the “stuff” is fun.

Co-incidental to the start of cycling season was the Grand Opening of a brand new Goodlife just a short 7 minutes from our home. This translated into my first ride being an indoor one as Helen signed us up for Spinning class last night.I love cycling of any kind. But had not “spun” for almost 2 years. It turned out to be an excellent experience as we had 2 great instructors and a brand new Spinning room and equipment.

The class lasted about 50 minutes with varying levels of exertion throughout.

My body is not (too) sore at the moment. Hence, I am very motivated!

If you have not tried Spinning, I strongly recommend it as it is a great way to learn and refine your cycling technique without worrying about all the common annoyances of cycling (such as that semi bearing down on you on some country road).
