Helen (my wife) got me into Spinning a few years ago. I was reluctant at first (for all those “guy” reasons”).
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I stopped 2 years ago (bad decison by the way).
Things have changed. Goodlife has opened up nearby and I now have few (valid) excuses for not going.
Returning to Spinning has been one of the best decisions I have made of late.
Here are my top reasons why Spinning really is good (in no particular order):
* You get your very own Spin bike each time you go!
* Classes have an Instructor who knows what he/she is doing
* Classes are designed to focus on specific techniques and muscle groups
* You don’t have to watch out for children, dogs or vehicles
* Everyone is going in the same direction
* Bikes are fully adjustable
* The music is loud and really pretty good
* You will get an incredible cardio-vascular workout in under 1 hour
* You get to express your “cycling fashion sense” – NOT!
