Helen and I have almost finalized our big annual bike trip. Despite my initial protestations, Helen & I have almost settled on Holland (the Netherlands) as our destination of choice for our major bike trip in 2008.
This makes sense as Helen is of Dutch extraction – and the country is relatively flat (LOL).
We are thinking of mid-September – but have yet to finalize the dates.
Holland is a logical choice as it is an extremely bike-friendly country – with over 19,000 kilometers of bicycles paths and lanes!
This will be our first cycling excursion outside of North America. So we are both obviously very excited.
I’ll post more information as we get our plans hammered out.
